Dr. William Zizic was born and raised in Chicago Heights, IL and received his DDS degree from Loyola University in Chicago in 1965. After graduation he was a captain in the US Army dental corps from 1965-1972 where he completed a general dentistry residency at Ireland Army Hospital in Fort Knox, KY. He has been in private practice in the Chicago area and South suburbs since then. He has four grown children, 1 boy and 3 girls, and seven grandchildren, 3 boys and 4 girls. Two of his girls and two of his grandchildren are in the dental profession, one is a dentist and the other two are dental hygienists and his grandson is a sophomore at the University of Illinois dental school. His wife is also a dentist (retired) who does "fresh start" school exams for 2 months in the spring and fall each year in the south suburbs.
Dr. Zizic enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has always been a perpetual student by attending continuing education courses and learning new technology in dentistry at conventions and seminars. He is an Invisalign certified provider and has completed 3 years of training at the Chicago Orthodontic Institute in the past. He is always striving to improve his delivery of dentistry to patients and welcomes the interaction with patients and their families. Dentistry will always by my commitment to life, as it is a wonderful profession.
